Anastasia Stročkova is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Prague and works as an illustrator at the intersection of print and digital work. Her conceptual illustrations can be found in newspapers, magazines, children's books and even on fiction covers. She collaborates with publishing houses such as Albatros, Argo, Běžíliška and 65. pole.
Her achievements include selection at the prestigious Bologna Children's Book Fair. She has exhibited at festivals such as Lustr, Impact Hub, Moving Station, and abroad - in Japan and Italy.
In her free work, she devotes herself to original illustrations, combining meanings and creating visual worlds – her own stage where the story unfolds. She is fascinated by illustrator's abbreviation and translating ideas into visual "Esperanto". She sees illustration as a way to make ideas visible and create new, otherworldly worlds.
