Jiří Mocek (*1985) is a Prague graphic designer and art director. After studying at the UDK in Berlin and graduating from the Studio of Graphic Design and Visual Communication at the UMPRUM in Prague, he founded his own studio Permanent Office. In his free time he creates a personal series of screen-printed posters and prints. The design of his work is specific for its distinctive typography and diversity. The author's color spectrum includes rainbow psychedelic designs, which could be seen on the posters for the Ankali club, but also a cold metallic style with a rounded font reminiscent of molten lead, for example on the poster for the Kaiser 54 pop-up club at KVIFF. He has collaborated with a number of foreign and Czech agents - from Boiler Room, Rhythm Section Records UK and Warp Records to Nobodylistena, Katarzia or the Bigg Boss publishing house.
