Michal Ožibko first started experimenting with oil painting at the age of 14, and eventually found himself evolving through several artistic techniques, including graffiti. Michal’s signature method, however, is applying many thin layers of glaze paints, which lend strong illusory and visual effect to his artworks. In abstract paintings, Michal uses highly impasto painting and expressive colors. In 2010, he won the Audience Award in the prestigious National Portrait Gallery competition in London for the painting iDeath.
